Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on
any items that you wish to buy, this puts them into the “shopping cart”. After
you have finished your selection, you will be asked for the details of both
yourself and the recipient. Once these details are entered you will be asked for
your credit card details. Finally you will receive a confirmation email of your
order.

We accept all major credit cards. You may also send your credit / debit card
information via phone (0800 917 9667), or over the Internet. You may also
send your order by email, however for security reasons we do not recommend this
method and encourage you to use one of the methods above.

When placing an order containing alcohol both yourself and the recipient must be over
the age of 18. You will be requested to confirm that you are the cardholder and
that both you, and the recipient are over the age of 18. You must be over the
age of 18 to send and receive alcohol. That is the law.

Delivery Schedule Peak Periods: Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Easter

Due to the volume of orders we receive at peak periods please be aware that orders may be delivered earlier than requested.

We will attempt to deliver on the day requested at peak periods, however due to
the quantity of orders dispatched at peak periods we do not guarantee an exact
delivery day although the vast majority of our orders will arrive on the day
requested.
However we reserve the right to deliver earlier than the day requested especially at peak periods.

Normal Delivery Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: all orders must be placed by 3.00 pm British Standard Time to ensure next working day delivery.
Orders placed after 3.00 pm on Thursday will be processed on Friday for delivery on Monday.
Orders placed after 3.00 pm on Friday will be processed on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
Delivery Days are Monday to Friday.

We do not deliver on a Saturday, Sunday or public holidays.

If we receive any advanced orders for a date that falls on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday these will delivered on the nearest available day.

All deliveries will take place between the hours of 8am and 6pm

Please note we cannot guarantee a delivery time

Please note that British Bouquets' Servers operate on BST (British Summer Time) or GMT +0100
Therefore if you placed your order GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)
then please add an hour from the order time stated on you confirmation receipt/email.

UK delivery charge - All orders placed are despatched by Courier Service at a Fee of £4.95 per order which will guarantee next day delivery.

Please note deliveries to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or Shetland Islands.
Delivery for these areas is a two day service and will incur a delivery charge of £9.95

If an order is placed for an area we do not cover we will inform you and refund your card.

Sunday & Public Holidays: No Deliveries. Should you place an order on a Saturday or Sunday it will not be dispatched until Monday and therefore delivered Tuesday.

Bank Holidays:
If we receive an order for a Bank Holiday Monday, it will be delivered on the closest
day beforehand.
Should the recipient not be home when our courier calls we will attempt to deliver to a neighbour or
post a card through the letterbox to inform the recipient of the attempted
delivery. Finally, we may leave the gift in a safe location informing the
recipient by card that a delivery has been attempted. Please ensure the correct
address is provided for the recipient including the full postal code and if
possible a telephone number.
Hospitals - Please ensure all details are correct (including the ward
Number/Department) - Please also ensure beforehand that the ward/department will
accept deliveries.

In certain cases where a third party delivery address is supplied e.g. businesses, hospitals, schools, etc,
your order may be left with any department authorised to accept delivery on behalf of that organisation eg stores etc.

British Bouquets cannot be held responsible for late deliveries due to adverse weather conditions or other courier related issues.

Please note we do not currently offer a same day delivery service!
Back Orders
Back Orders/Substitution:
We would rather not disappoint our customers by "back ordering" if particular
items are not in stock as this may affect the delivery date. Instead we will
substitute with alternative flowers,fruit,food etc. Any substitution will be the same or
greater value from the item displayed. We will make every effort to ensure that
the bouquet/basket/Hamper is as displayed on web site.
Tax Charges
All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption.
They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.
They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. This does not affect your statutory rights as a
consumer.

Reaching Us
Complaints will always be dealt with and acknowledged within 5 working days
(most are acknowledged same day) at non seasonal times. During periods such as
Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day we may take longer. All complaints
are handled fairly, confidentially and effectively

Privacy Policy
We not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on the
website to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have
selected an item to store delivery addresses.
We retain only the information we require to deliver your order, no third
parties are involved.

Please note that customers may be contacted by us by e-mail to remind them of
special events such as Valentines or Mother’s Day. Should you not wish to
receive such e-mails you may choose to opt out during the ordering process.
Should you wish to opt out at a later date you may do so by expressing so by
e-mail.

Information is collected lawfully through our catalogue ordering procedure and
is in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Returns Policy
Returns Flowers and Fruit Baskets.
If goods are damaged/incorrect we will resend the
goods free of charge. Alternatively we can offer a refund although we may
ask you to provide photographic evidence that the goods have been damaged/incorrect. Please note that when
additional items have been sent the refund amount will only apply to the
damaged/incorrect product.

Please note that we cannot cancel orders that are in transit.

Returns Balloons.
We encourage you to order balloons to be delivered as close to the occasion
as possible. British Bouquets cannot be held responsible for balloons
deflating once received by the recipient. We use a specialized gel in all
our latex balloons to increase their inflated life. If you find a balloon to
be defective we encourage you to contact our customer service centre
immediately as we may wish to arrange collection or ask for evidence that
the balloon is defective. Please note that when additional items have been
sent the refund amount will only apply to the defective product.


Pease note that in the instance of the balloon becoming out of stock we have the right to substitute the balloon to match the occasion.
Remittance Terms
Full payment for the gift is required before your order can be dispatched.
